【艾克哈特.托利】《意識的轉變》

一旦在人自身的觀點中出現了某種角度的“臨在”,靜默和警覺,這個人便
置身在了無處不在的意識或靈性,每種生命形式之中,認識到這些猶如他們自己的本質一般,也如深愛自己那樣愛它。但是在這種情況出現前,大多數人僅僅只看到外在的形式,不了解內在的本意,這只是他們不了解自己的核心本質,而只通過他們的身體和心理層面去鑑別認知。


Once there is a certain degree of Presence, ofstill and alert attention in human beings' perceptions, they cansense the divine life essence, the one indwelling consciousness orspirit in every creature, every life-form, recognize it as one withtheir own essence and so love it as themselves. Until this happens,however, most humans see only the outer forms, unaware of the inneressence, just as they are unaware of their own essence and identifyonly with their own physical and psychological form.


舉例來說一朵花,一塊水晶,珍貴的寶石,或是鳥兒,即便是某個人很少或幾乎沒有“臨在”之感都可以偶爾的感受到確實存在著比僅有的物質存在形式有著更多更多,卻不知道這個原因--為何他/她被吸引向它,感受到與它的一種密切關係。正是因為它這種不可捉摸的特徵,它的形態隱匿在了靈性之中,卻較少於體現外在的生命形式中。

In the case of a flower, a crystal, precious stone, orbird, however, even someone with little or no Presence canoccasionally sense that there is more there than the mere physicalexistence of that form, without knowing that this is the reason whyhe or she is drawn toward it, feels an affinity with it. Because ofits ethereal nature, its form obscures the indwelling spirit to alesser degree than is the case with other life-forms.


例外的情況是所有初生的生命形式--嬰兒,小狗,小貓,小羊羔等等。它們是脆弱,精微的,還沒有很好的在物質界成型。一種不屬於這個世界的天真無邪,可愛的氣質與美麗,依舊通過它們閃耀出來。即便是遲鈍的人類都很高興與之發生聯繫。

The exception to this are all newborn life-forms—babies,puppies, kittens, lambs, and so on. They are fragile, delicate, notyet firmly established in materiality. An innocence, a sweetnessand beauty that are not of this world still shine through them.They delight even relatively insensitive humans.


所以當你保持警覺和注目的觀察去看待一朵花,水晶,或是鳥兒,且不以心理習慣的方式去命名,它就成為了一扇窗口讓你進入到無形的世界。此刻便出現了一種內在的開啟,但是輕微的,進入到靈性的實相。這也是為何三位“已開悟”的生命在古代的歷史中在人類進化道路上扮演瞭如此重要的角色;為何,舉個例子,蓮花之中的寶石便是佛教中的核心標誌,而一隻白鳥,白鴿,在基督教中表示聖靈。它們一直在準備著促成注定要在人類種族中發生的行星意識的轉變。

So when you are alert and contemplate a flower, crystal,or bird without naming it mentally, it becomes a window for youinto the formless. There is an inner opening, however slight, intothe realm of spirit. This is why these three “en- lightened”life-forms have played such an important part in the evolution ofhuman consciousness since ancient times; why, for example, thejewel in the lotus flower is a central symbol of Buddhism and awhite bird, the dove, signifies the Holy Spirit in Christianity. They have been preparing the ground for a more profound shift inplanetary consciousness that is destined to take place in the humanspecies.
